Photos from Portland and Vancouver
We're back in Ipswich, and soon we will be catching up on our sleep. I won't even try to summarise all the visiting and catching up that we did; instead I'm just posting some of my favourites from the few photos I took.
This is our first night in Portland. Dave is helping Sarah in holding a pet rabbit.
We visited family at John's house. Sarah enjoyed playing the mandolin.
We had a few gatherings of neighbourhood friends. Here's Gabriel, Sarah, Nika and Tyler giving chase to each other.
I'd brought matching Ipswich Town FC jerseys with us for Sarah and Nika and they wanted to wear them all the time.
After a six hour drive to Vancouver, including about an hour and a half in line for the border crossing, we were looking forward to a nice meal. We settled on an Italian restaurant near the waterfront.
After dinner we strolled a bit to look out over some of the city that will be our new home.
